It's been a while since we had a LAN Party, especially to the regulars
While I may be the guy that Sir Jiggs appointed to organize LAN Parties because he's busy, I am also a bit busy and I cannot give a definite schedule on when is going to be the next LAN Party. Hell, I'm just here because I'm selling a vehicle (maybe a projector and a few items soon) that needs to be sold before a certain date. But seriously, I'm really busy
So I'll just leave this thread here, for discussions and ideas for the next LAN Party. I'll hint off a few subjects for you guys.
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 - Server Files got leaked. We could definitely play some BFBC2 with no lag (LAN Connectivity). But we should consider that the game needs to be above 10 players to be fully enjoyable. Maybe some Squad Rush, or some Squad Deathmatch. Also, not everyone can afford BFBC2. PS: Terrible ping on any SE-Asia server.
MW2 - LAN play can be done.
Starcraft II - The release date is near. If we're gonna make this a game for the LAN Party, we have to consider that there is no clear explanation from Blizzard of how players in the same network are given ping advantages.
Number of attendees in the LAN Party - Let's face it, the owner doesn't like us using his place when we only have 10-13 attendees per LAN Party. So he is imposing a minimum of 15 attendees. If we don't reach the 15 attendee minimum, then definitely akoy makabayad like what happened last time.
A definite date on the next LAN Party - I may be able to organize one when my desktop is complete (Currently waiting for processor and memory).
I have a feeling that the next LAN Party would be SC2's debut. So let's try to make it big
