I will use a dual monitor for work and gaming, but wondering for my gaming monitor, what is the best the 4670 1GB can handle. I know 1080p will probably lag it.

that would greatly depend on the games you want to play.
If you want to game on current titles on DX10, DX10.1 or DX11 modes, you need a better card.
What games are you planning to play?
Coz If you just want to play World of Warcraft or Plants and Zombies,
You card can pretty much handle 1920 X 1200 resolutions.
Im playing WoW and SC2 beta, even DragonAge Origins fine on a 17" 1280X1024 resolution. What I wanna know is if I wanna use that monitor for work, and buy a bigger/better one, whats the best?
And those are the only games I wanna play anyway, since Im gonna buy a new rig next year na.
1280x1024 sa 17" bro? d ba d na mao iyang native resolution. i thought 1280x768 ang 17". 1280x1024 is pang 22". pls correct me if im wrong.
Ermmm... no idea. I just click what the most it supports. lol
Pero whats the best my card can handle - size and res?
If you will only be playing WoW, get the best monitor with highest possible resolution you can afford.
You will be upgrading anyways.
But since you also play Starcraft2, I think your dead end is at 1680 X 1050. Good Luck.
9600GT is a little bit better (in some games) than 4670... i had a 9600GT 512MB before and it runs SC2 beta smoothly with med-high settings at 1680x1050 res...
^you mean the 9600GTs a little bit better? the HD 4670s counterpart is the 9600GSO.
Lets stick to the topic guys and not compare HD4670 and 9600GT.
@TS
I'd agree with loloyis.com
