Life After Death, Do You Believe?

Hey guys, i want to open this thread so we could discuss something which i think is certain death. Do you believe there's life after death? You can also post your experiences here with your loved ones who passed away...

i firmly believe that our consciousness go somewhere after the death of our physical body. when i was a kid, it suddenly occured to me that when i die, my awareness...the conscious self in me will merely transfer to another being. life after death could mean many things...it could mean spiritual existence in another plane or dimension, physical existence in another world (or here again?!).

of course nobody lives to tell the living what happens after death, right?! not believing on something without tangible proof is but human nature. awareness on these things is what matters most. keeping an open mind breaks the chain that limits us within the confines of the so-called comfort zones of our conventional belief.

There is no one who could attest there's life after death but when my father in law died recently and i was at his bedside, my belief that there is life after death mas made stronger...the night before he died he was mentioning the names of his relatives and parents who were already dead as if he was talking to them and he was mentioning the time 6am. After that, he was always asking for the time almost every hour as if he was meeting somebody. He died at 3 am. It is true that when we die, the events in our life will flash like a movie screen and those who experienced near death could tell. There is really a soul within us which will bring us to life eternal...

if death is the end of life, then there is life after death therefore death is not the end of life. So what then is Death? and what is life?

Death is the end of life here on Earth. However, there is also a second death.

Life is for living and death is for dying, lol. They say, fear life not death. Is there life after death? I dont know but i dont believe so. How can you have *** when you die? you can't make babies anymore so it stops at death. I mean, i read a news article about this boyfriend of a woman. Her boyfriend died and she had his sperm extracted out of him and fertilized with her egg and implanted in her womb. So now she has a child out of that dead boyfriend of hers.

Question though - would you be willing to go through that? for example namatay imong boyfriend or hubby right away pa implant nimo iyang sperm sa imo para magka baby mo. Sugot ka? Sugot ko if i love him enough. Why not? Anyway its quite relative to life after death only of a different nature might be that of evolution. It might touch other relevant issues like God's role and how the Bible interprets life after death. Dont know what to believe
