Dragon Age Origins problem

hi mga pipz! just wondering if anyone has experienced my current dilemma... i got a copy of DA:O about the time it got released nya i installed and played the game on my 1 year old laptop with no problems (of course at lowered settings)... i stopped playing for a few months and then i just recently got a hold of a new laptop and tried installing the game on it. then it happened... sa splash screen pa lng (knang "autorun" btw nya) ok ra pro once i select "install" my laptop freezes and theres this annoying buzzing sound mugawas sa speakers/headset.

i then found a work around where i selected "setup" sa installer disc instead of the "autorun" function... ok ra iyang installation but now i can't play or configure the game since inig run nko sa daorigins.exe file, adto npud cya sa splash screen wherein mucrash npud and i have to do a hard reboot. i can't understand why a laptop w/ around 3x more firepower than my old one can't even handle starting up this game! any feedback is appreciated since dead end na gyud ko krn and am currently still searching the web for possible fixes. FYI: specs of both laptops listed below:

Compaq Presario CQ40-310AU (old laptop)

• amd turion x2 2.1 ghz 1mb L2 cache
• ati mobility radeon hd3200 IGP
• 4 gb ddr2 800 mhz RAM
• Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit

ASUS G60JX-RBBX05 (new laptop)

• intel core i5 430m 2.27-2.53 ghz 3mb L3 cache
• nvidia geforce gts 360m 1 gb gddr5 gpu
• 4 gb ddr3 1333 mhz RAM
• Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit

oh nvrmind... it seems that it was the DALauncher.exe that had issues with Windows 7... still managed to play the game though by bypassing the launcher through DAOrigins.exe.
