    Default Website wont load on a specific DSL provider


    hello guys, did you have the experience that you can't access a website with a specific DSL provider?
    just want to know info why?

    if your talking about the sucky globelines broadband, my solution was turn my router on and off till i get an ip starting with 112 or 124...thats the remedy

    maka ping ba ka sa site bai? if yes, kalimot ko sa exact term pero naa nay solusyon ana.
    adto lng sa "hosts" file sa imong windows na installation. usually naa na sa \windows\system32\drivers\etc na folder. tapos open with notepad lng nang hosts na file. then add the following entries:

    [ip sa site][space or tab][name sa site]

    so if magadd kag entry for facebook.com(69.63.189.16), then entry will be
    69.63.189.16 facebook.com

    not necessary 112 or 124... basta prevent lng jud ug 203 kay proxy na nga IP.

    Usually causes of that issues is the modem or router provided by your ISP.

    try changing your dns ip. you could try opendns. google also offers a free dns ip. i think it's 8.8.8.8 but you should research that. i could be wrong.

    thanks for the answers guys - dns server of the dsl provider.
    - yes its globelines (dns server problem)

    i own a website (www.backspace.ph) and most of my globelines subscribed visitors complain that they can not access my website and its down they say. simply i asks them to flush dns but not all of them are computer savvy.

    got the conclussion that globelines has trouble with its dns.

    solutions:
    run
    cmd
    ipconfig /flushdns

    or
    use opendns.com
    208.67.222.222
    208.67.220.220

    use open dns, "selective browsing" ang problema ana.
