new modus attacking SMART PLAN subscribers

Hi! I would like to make the public aware of this modus going around attacking smart plan subscribers. I don't know how they get these smart plan numbers but apparently they only text to postpaid numbers. I wonder who are the people behind this, in my opinion they probably could be a few of the thousands of smart employees who knows... Anyway, this is how they do it. They text you using a smart number with this text message this one sent by 09297306762:

SMARTPlan:
Congrats! U are the one Postpaid line, Given a 50% Discount billing, to get your 50% Discount bill, please forward this message to 8088
Ref # 0709297306762 60

If you just scan through the text message (the way I did) you'd probably think this is for real or really from SMART since it states "forward this message to 8088" and we all know that 4 digit network numbers are for real. When in fact what really happened was that you just did a PASALOAD of P60 to the number who texted you since he inserted his number after the "Reference number" below the text message which in this case is 09297306762.

I didn't know this could be done since if you do pasaload you just enter the recipient's number, space, then amount, then send to 808, what I didn't know is that you can actually manipulate it to look like that and end up sending load to these thieves.

Here are 4 numbers who have been texting me, they probably do not use this on a daily basis but then at least I have tried my best to warn the public on what they are doing:

unless they called you from your cell phone using a four digit number, thats from smart gyud. they are using a service phone nga 4 digits ra ang mu appear, kana claro na sila. kay my wife used to call me using four digit numbers only which is a local number in trying to call their clients or nothify their subscribers... kanang cellphone, pabor sa ilad na sya...
