instead of blaming the government and spending too much time shopping for clearance out sale and avoiding paying the right duties to your taxes and custom dues. have you tried asking yourself why your country is getting poorer and poorer? can you share simple things that can make a difference to this country. i would really appreciate your contribution so i can share it with my kid as he grows up to be a better pinoy with your help.

01 Follow traffic rules. Follow the law.
02 Whenever you buy or pay for anything, always ask for an official receipt.
03 Don’t buy smuggled goods. Buy local. Buy Filipino. (Or, if you read the book, he suggests: 50-50).
04 When you talk to others, especially foreigners speak positively about us and our country.
05 Respect your traffic officer, policeman and soldier.
06 Do not litter. Dispose your garbage properly. Segregate. Recycle. Conserve.
07 Support your church.
08 During elections, do your solemn duty.
09 Pay your employees well.
10 Pay your taxes.
11 Adopt a scholar or a poor child.
12 Be a good parent. Teach your kids to follow the law and love our country.

The book's first printing sold out in spite of the fact that Lacson did not initially sell in major bookstores because their markup price was too high.
