I made this topic to hopefully encourage dog owners to share their experiences with their dogs. I know a puppy is very much like a human baby, they learn new tricks everyday. Amazing kaayo. Pede pud ninyo e share ang inyong mga "LINGAW" times with your Adult Doggies dinhi. If there is already a similar topic made, mods, plz paki merge lang. :mrgreen: salamat mods.

* I have a 1 year old GSD named Lana. I try to walk her everyday. Before today, I used to dread taking her out for walks kay ang mahitabo kay siya man ang mo walk nako. Siya mag una una pirme and feeling pack leader jed. Anyways, for the whole week we have been taking her our for her walk, gipalitan namo siya og bag-o nga choke chain kay naputol ang daan. Today, happy kaayo ko kay ni behave na jed siya. She was walking beside me and wa jed ko niya gibira bira. Proud kaayo ko sa akong Lana. Finally she got it na jed! The thing that I need to work on is when she sees a CAT. She goes on a sort of rampage (like all dogs do) when she sees one. Mo lugnot dayon.

right now I got a minpin, planning to get a GSD next month again.
is your dog a female? used to have a GSD in the late 90's but had to give it away for lack of space.
by the way where do you walk your dog and actually not have your dog run over by a jeep

My Lana is female. Sorry to hear about you having to give up your GSD. ako di ko ka imagine mawala si Lana nako.
Anyways, for how long did you have your GSD? unsa imong mga memorable experience niya? Was your GSD female or male?
Sa daplin mi sa dalan magwalk. gusto nako si Lana e expose sa mga passing cars. kay naa siya tendency nga mo gukod sa una sa mga
mag bike, mga van og trucks. So, every morning, naa ming duha sa side sa road. ako siya palingkuron. behave man sad, mag sige ra pud
siya watch sa cars ug uban pa that would pass by. :mrgreen:

I have a golden retriever puppy named Marui.

I had him sleep in my bedroom in side his private room ( a crate with a lot of toys inside).

And I realize that a 3 month old golden retriever should start his retrieving training.

Here’s a short marui retrieve training video clip. As you can see he didn’t return the empty bottle back to me.

keep on working with your pup. he will get it. i wished i started working with Lana when she was younger. pero ok ra man sad karon, kay she is finally getting it. nindot kaayo akong feeling when she walks beside me, not in front of me like before. kuha na pud siya sa sit, down, stay og heel nga commands. PROUD MOMMY kaayo ko.

* Nice, was able to watch the video! SOOOOOOOOO cute! amazed ko sa iyang ka obedient. kabalo na jed siya mo sit. Good job!!! I suggest, tennis balls imong gamiton. Kay am sure malingaw siya og lakag. And then para ibalik niya ang ball nimo, kuha og hot dog. e slice into bite sized pieces as treat for returning the ball to you. it works with Lana. pero may pagka smartass ni akong Lana. kung wala nay treat e tease ko. di e hatag ang bola.

* Nice, am sure daghan kaayo na himuon si Marui nga lingaw. kay puppy pa jed na. pwerte ka hyper. Share unya ha? maski walay video. suwat lang payts na. pero ok sad ang naay video. hey, kung eggnog works for him then you can use eggnog. Lana tamilian kaayo. Maski dog treat di mo kaon. saonz na lang.

* Walked Lana today. And na amaze ko kay I don't have to say "SIT". Everytime mo hunong ko, she right away sits beside me. She walks really well now. Less na iyang pagbira. I think she is slowly beginning to understand that she is not the "Pack Leader". Feels good that Lana is making such good progress. Mas rewarding gyud diay kung ikaw mismo ang mo train sa imong puppy. It's no easy task pero nindot ang feeling when you see your pet so behaved and obedient. tis a good day today!
