Install ISA... =)
Its a proxy and firewall software as well. =)
its even a web filter if you install Surfcontrol...
can u teach me how to configure ds. Do i need to have 2 LAN hardware? what would be the network look like.
there are lots of third party software for free, try winproxy or linux proxy server. They have tutorials.
thanks for da info. I already downloaded ISA Server 2004 Enterprise edition. And also i download ISA 2004 configuration guidelines.
Thanks. Ill just ask u f technical error occurs.
Is the ISA Server capable of hosting internet. like a proxy.
I want to restrict/create users for the internet in the network.
IS dis possible for the ISA?
1. Create users dat can access internet.
2. block sexual sites/restricted sites.
3. server for internet which has the control of the internet access rights
ds would be my senario:
i was in a domain system, all users are connected in our domain. I also configured the active directory.
i created users for the domain log-on, i also created permission rights on ds respective users.
my internet sharing concern:
we are connected at DSL line-----> DSL router----->3COM switch.
in ds situation. when the users copied the DNS of da router and configured in their LAN, they can now easily access internet.
I would like to restrict and control the internet sharing. Do you have any idea? tnx
yes you can do that in ISA, you can create policy by user better make it by group. better also to configure this with domain controller para once mo login ang user automatic mo apply ang policy pero kung wla ka mag domain everytime mo connect ang user kinahanglan cya mo login. naay mo pop-up sa screen before maka surf.
