In the past elections, I voted for Raul Roco after a thorough research & assessment... Unfortunately, he didn't win. "Perhaps, most Pinoys are not wise voters", I utterred to myself.
My conscience upsetted me because I did not exert much effort to multiply my vote.
This time, thorough research & assessment is on-going.
my top choices (late 2009):
1. Villar
2. Gibo
3. Gordon
my top choices (early 2010):
1. Gordon
2. Gibo
3. Villar
my top choices (April 2010):
1. Gibo
2. Villar
3. Gordon
I now have 1 day left to decide. 1 day left? Yes!, because I will devote myself for a 3-day campaign (May 7 - 9, 2010) thereafter. At least, in 3 days time, I am not only voting for my best choice, but also multiplying my sacred vote to my humble circle of influence (relatives, friends, fellow leaders as well as members of my youth organizations, subordinates, church leaders, business partners, clients/customers, etc.). It may not reach to million, but certainly to hundreds & hopefully these hundreds will multiply to thousands.
Too late? Nope! Even a day of logical & substantial campaign has its significant impact.
Do it too. If you really allocated time in coming up w/ the best choice, 1 vote is not enough.
