Is this possible to create using acrylic or ABS plastic? Any thoughts on how much it would effect the cooling of a GTX 260/280/285 GPU?

I know the GPU shroud will force air from the stock fans to the fins, with it off it would probably raise your GPU temps. Having a fan blow directly to the fins should work too.

Testingan nako using card board and masking tape. I will post temps later. Di lang ni pede dugayon nako og taod basin ma sunog ang card board. Maybe 15 minutes Furmark and ako e-compare with the original shroud on the GPU.

I've done the 2nd illustration for a friend on his GTX285, Ghetto style no cumbersome shrouds just using a cable tie to hold the fan at an angle, about 30c cooler on his end. Thinking about doing this on my old GTX285 as well.
