better work 1st for at least 2 years, for the experience. but naa rapod na nimo, if you are already used/trained in running your parents/family business, and you think that you can already handle a business on your own, then why not? the Philippines need more entrepreneurs. ^_^ good luck.

gibuhat nako ni sauna sir, kadtong binata pako, sus pirting lisura, i wake up at 7am go to work from 8am til 6pm then diretso na sa negosyo (beerhouse) up to 12mn, sometimes 2am pa... i wouldnt advice it oi, aside sa abuso kaayo sa lawas, di jud ka maka focus... sometimes while at work you think about the business, and while doing business you think about work... puro half baked ang gawas sa imo performance.

concentrate sa business bro since you already have your parent's blessing ani, I'm employed and at the same time nagbusiness ug ginagmay since gusto sa ako parents work lang. I use part of my salary para pangpuno sa capital but kapoy huna2x 2 things at the same time like what yokam just mentioned above. mu retiro nako ani once ok na ako sideline. kapoy naa ka boss, maypa ikaw na lang ang boss. hehe
