Teknik Allianz is seeking an experienced Database Administrator to join the IT team and participate in the creation, customization, configuration and maintenance of database on top of the existing databases including building integration hooks with other internal in-house built, 3rd party or hosted systems.

Responsibilities:

-Define the appropriate application configuration to optimize performance and usability.
-Explore and recommend emerging technologies and techniques to support/enhance any application components you are maintaining.
-Apply sound release management and configuration management principles to ensure the stability of production environments.
-Analyze and troubleshoot issues in a complex applications environment.
-Willingness to take initiative to contribute beyond basic responsibilities.

Requirements:

-B.S. Computer Science or related field
-Experience coding in JavaScript, Ajax, HTML, CSS, XML and HTTP
-Good knowledge of MySQL or Oracle RDBMS and SQL
-Good understanding of Web Services software architectural and design issues
-Very strong interpersonal and organization skills
-Strong analytical skills including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and work with a combination of various cross functional teams to get problems resolved
-Innovative thinking and problem solving capabilities in a fast pace environment
