    Default Memento Mori Photography

WARNING! Not for the faint of heart.

    Alright...

Here's something i'd love to share to all you shutterbugs. It's literally a dead artform (no pun intended) of photography.

This used to be hip a long long time ago. Photographers then would fight for the chance to shoot these kinda bloody shots (it's to die for, that is... literally).

I myself would like to try this one (me being the shooter and not the subject, that is). Another unique alternative to the same-same photog styles/types most of us do about. Probably add a modern twist to this very odd, mysterious, macabre and bizzare form of Photography.

BTW, they're NOT asleep. But neither are they AWAKE too.

I hope you mates won't find it bloody hard to sleep later, like i did, after seeing these..

    Cheers!!!

I personally find the 4th and the 6th photos disturbing.

    That being:

The 4th photo - Both the father and the child are deceased. You would have only guessed that only the child was. But try looking closely at the man's eyes, hands and posture (marbling of the eyes, skin discoloration of the hands suggesting putrefaction; arm and digital rigidity suggests rigor mortis).

The 6th photo - The eyes of the child. They're marbled and dis-aligned, even the pupil of the left eye is complete gone, while the right eye bears almost.
