    About Jun Jun Davide
Born in Cebu City on August 25, 1964 to former Supreme Court Chief Justice Hilario G. Davide, Jr. and Virginia J. Perez-Davide, both public servants, Hilario “Jun Jun” Davide III is a family man, loving husband to wife Jobella G. Angan and an involved father to their three daughters, namely: Patricia Janelli, Dana Giannina and Niña Francesca.
    Educational background
Jun Jun finished elementary at the Sacred Heart School for Boys in 1977 and completed high school at the University of the Philippines in the Visayas — Cebu campus in 1981. He then took up Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at UP Diliman, Quezon City where he graduated in 1991. In 1995, he obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree at the University of San Carlos. Just like his father, Jun Jun became a lawyer after passing the bar examinations in 1997.
    Work experience
He lists the following in his work history:

    • Worked as Graft Prevention and Control Officer, Associate Graft Investigation Officer, and Graft Investigation Officer at the Office of the Ombudsman – Visayas.

    Just a Simple Guy
Jun Jun says that he starts his day at 5 a.m. and observes a regular work routine during weekdays while he spends his free time and weekends with his wife and family.
A self-confessed simple guy with no airs or expensive hobbies, Jun Jun mentions simple pleasures like playing table tennis, unwinding over a few drinks with his wife and hanging out at home. Unlike the current lady governor who is reportedly fond of designer clothes, fine dining and wining, Jun Jun admits that he only gets to view himself in front of a mirror after a bath.
    Action plan if elected
His plan of action includes gathering various representatives and stakeholders of the province to map out strategies for pressing issues such as:

    • water
    • power
    • education
    • health
    • agriculture, and
    • food security

Why You Should Vote for Jun Jun Davide
When asked why Cebuanos should vote for him, the future Governor of Cebu said,
I believe I can be a worthy occupant of the Governor. I believe that the office of the governor is a public trust and the Constitution requires its holder to be accountable to the people at all times. To serve them with utmost responsibility, efficiency, loyalty and integrity. To act with patriotism and justice and to live a modest life
