C2 Green Tea Bottle Advisory?

i dont know if this true or not but i just want so share:

C2 Green Tea bottle- its not the tea that affecting you but the chemical releasing from the bottle. These plastic called polyethylene terephthalate or PET bottles contains a potentially carcinogenic element (cancer-causing chemical agents). Check on the bottom of the bottle, there is a triangle sign and number 1. Whatever number under 5 will release the chemical especially of C2. Since tea leaves brewed and hot filled into these plastic bottles.

No wonder the bottles are so thick. This is something we should be scrimping on.

what i heard is that you should not wash/recycle these kinds of bottle because of the carcinogens. wish there are recycling center like those in the usa and canada

Everything you've heard is a hoax disproved by the company itself. These bottles are safe for use and anything to say that bottles with any number less than 5 will release carcinogens after repeated washings is completely wrong. Read the FAQ and find out for yourself.

i guess its true, when i check all the plastic water container in my house,
they are all mark with triangle (PET)
signs and some numbered by 1 & 5, so i guess this huge water refilling station company that i'm using
currently right now is aware of this (PET 1 - 5) so there's no reason to ''pamahamak'' thier consumers ryt?
i got also a water glass (but its not a glass its plastic) libog no?
anyway... i bought this in dept.store in cebu, at the bottom i saw a triangle & no. 5 inside.
so unsaon mani nako ? ilabay nig human nako imun?

i like C2, but uhmm with these advisory, i ges, these does not apply to C2 bottles only, but to all other fluid drinks in bottles,.,
