i was thinking of giving my parents a gift as a sign of my gratitude for all there efforts

I'd gladly purchase a life insurance plan for mine, but they won't allow me to. Maybe you can treat your parents to dinner or have your favorite family photo printed out and framed nicely.

I think the best gift you can give to them is respect, support and as who you are.

Just make them proud of what you are right now.
Of course, you will never be without them right?.

oh you're a sweet thing arent u? i havent thought about that when i got my moment.. now you're making me feel bad hehehe if i were to do it again, i'd book them to a nice resort for the weekend, buy them nice lunch/dinner. I think parents/couples enjoy this than giving them stuff
