Nope you need atleast a RAM/Processor and a videocard or onboard videocard.

pwede walay processor. tan-awa ra gud si ruelnov inig test, walay processor gamiton at 1st testing sa motherboard. sakto man pod, basin naay short sa motherboard, butangan ug processor, basin inig switch ON mo aso ang processor (or dili mo aso, basta maguba).

si ruelnov mas maka explain ani. ako basta naa ko paliton motherboard, before nako gamiton, gastoan lang nako ug gamay ngadto ni ruelnov. ako ipa-test kung wala ba prob. bec hadlok ko maamong akong processor, memory, video card, etc.

basta kay gamit na si ruelnov ug multitester, kadto card nga itaod niya sa PCI slot, dayon taoran og power supply, switch ON, and do the testing.

motherboard side testing only maybe he can, but full function testing is NOT possible w/o a processor heck how can you even stress test the entire board w/o a processor unless his a miracle worker

si ruelnov mas maka explain ani. ako basta naa ko paliton motherboard, before nako gamiton, gastoan lang nako ug gamay ngadto ni ruelnov. ako ipa-test kung wala ba prob. bec hadlok ko maamong akong processor, memory, video card, etc.

that is only interconnection testing, no more than a multimeter + expension card checker, nothing fancy or amazing. its a way of impressing people that you are "scientific" about it.
I do believe that a motherboard can be tested w/o a processor,ram,videocard.. all you need to do is just power it. but FULL stress testing is different and this post of his reaffirms it that he can do full stress testing w/o a processor

that's something u still need to know, man..hehe.

unless im mistaken but his post entire says that i dont know how by which he means both standard testing and full stress testing w/o a processor, unless he should have specified it then on his post.
