i am reposting this here para maaware ang tanan esp kato mga mupalitay ug dogs from Manila... i know weve heard of fake pcci papers but never have i imagined the whole scenario until i came across this thread from ppf... seller is a known personality, having been a former pba player, and an owner of a petshop in tiendesitas... his pic also appears in the recent pcci magazine advertising his alaskan malamute. just be careful on dealing with some sellers, it is better to be safe than sorry.

just an advice from a concerned fellow istoryan and cebuano.

theres no assurance unless:

1) the breeder/seller is a reputable one;
2) verify the pcci registry no. first from pcci;
3) investigate the background of the manila seller... most of the time that particular seller have sold dogs in previous times, so it would be good if you check his/her previous posts in that forum... try to gather past feedbacks on his previous transactions... ask around... mao ra gyud na ang mahimo nato nga mga buyers.

ako, what i do is to get from known breeders from manila... that way i am more or less sure nga they wont risk their names/reputation for a few bucks..

nakahinumdum diay ko sometime late last year, naay baye nga intsik magpastud sa ako boston... nya wala papers iya boston and nangutana siya nako "wala kay extra paper dira, ako paliton"

wtf! i was dumbfounded! first time nako naka encounter ing-ato nga proposition... tsk tsk tsk i turned down the lady and told her i dont do such things and i play fair.. i told her, balik lang sa imu gipalitan ana ug if pwd pa, i process lang iya papeles keysa mag fabricate ka ng papeles nga dili mao. tsk tsk tsk scrupulous people. btw, that chinese lady owns a petshop somewhere north town of cebu.. pagbantay.
