and you may have guessed i'm against it. korek! boxing is similar to the gladiators of long ago who were sent to fight the lions. unimaginable today.

Looks like the campaign to ban boxing isn't going so well hehe...

I read an article somewhere about boxing and I liked how it was described, It is the rawest form of competition. There is no ball...no goal...no team. It's man versus man. You are on an even playing field, restricted by the rules and you have to prove yourself with heart and skill.

Unlike the old days, todays boxers aren't forced to fight each other, they fight with free will. Gladiators of the past fought to be free men.

I was planning to explain boxing as a sport , but I thought to myself , opinions are opinions , you can't convince someone thats made a decision to stand against the sport. So the best thing to do is respect your opinion.

One thing I will say though, I have never seen a man lift the spirit of a whole country through boxing, if it helps the kids, the people have hope through hard work and making a better life for oneself, I will support it.

So I say DO NOT BAN BOXING !

Personally, I got tired watching boxing matches... too physical for me... I've switched to UFC coz it's totally tamer hehehe *innocent smiles*
