Hi, nag subscribe ko ug 2mbps sa globe then i was given a free prolink wifi router. Problem is, dili kaabot ang wifi signal sa amo 2nd floor bcos concrete ang flooring and wla line of sight sa silong nga router.

So ask lang ko sa inyo advice mga networking expert Istoryans kung unsa ang best remedy ani? Naa bai paagi malabay ang signal wirelessly thru a repeater?

pwede ka lad-lad ug cable padulong sa inyo taas then pwede ka connect didto directly or kung gusto ka wi-fi gihapon, you can plug in a wi-fi access point nalang. hope this helps.

you can try the following:
1. use high gain antenna if possible. maybe 7dbi or 9dbi.
2. use a wireless N router connected to the prolink then ibutang sa tunga sa balay.
3. use a wireless repeater.

pwede sad ka use ug 'powerline' para wala na lan cable (na-a ni sa CDRKing) [option lang! ^_^]

buy lang wifi router nga pwde ma client bridge or repeater or support ug WDS. para ma link nimo ang prolink to that wifi router and from that wifi router to your pc sa 2nd floor.
