This is very important. There are threads in the internet that reports the new driver (196.75) for Nvidia Graphics cards kill it. Most of the causes are blizzard games (SC2 Beta), as per EarlZ, possible daw na tungod daw sa Vsync issue (which makes sense). They say that the graphics card is not able to detect its temperature due to incompatibilities with the program and the new driver which causes it to overheat with temperature in excess of 100c+.

Nvidia's Official Statement:
nVidia retracts WHQL-certified "GPU Killing Drivers" - Bright Side Of News*
Bryan Del Rizzo, nVidia's PR Manager for GeForce for comment: "We are aware that some customers have reported fan speed issues with the latest 196.75 WHQL drivers on NVIDIA.com. Until we can verify and root cause this issue, we recommend that customers stay with, or return to 196.21 WHQL drivers. Release 196.75 drivers have been temporarily removed from our Web site in the meantime."
There's a workaround na ni work sa uban people. They let 3rd party programs manage the fan speed (Rivatuner, Afterburner, etc.). My VGA BIOS is edited so it consistently runs at 60% regardless and so far, its running fine from my end but just to make sure...Check your temps and uninstall the driver, NOW!!!
