Default Four call center workers suspended over obscene messages

Four call center personnel in the Philippines have been suspended pending further investigation by local authorities after sending an obscene SMS message to a New Zealand-based client's customers, according to the New Zealand Herald.

The New Zealand Herald reported Friday that Telecom, the New Zealand-based telecommunications company, has uncovered the source of obscene SMS messages received by some of its customers earlier in the week.

    F*** you

On Wednesday, a woman from Whanganui District told authorities that she had received an SMS message saying "F*** you" after she had complained to Telecom's customer service about delays in the company's SMS service.

The offensive messages were traced to the Manila offices of Sitel, a multinational business process outsourcing company of which Telcom is a client.

    Sitel employees suspended

Four of Sitel's employees in Manila have been suspended and will undergo further investigation by local authorities, according to Telecom.

"We have over 1,500 team members in New Zealand and 800 in Manila. They will all be massively disappointed by this event," said Sitel general manager of customer services, Trish Keith.

Sitel has reportedly apologised for the incident, but has chosen not to reveal the identities of the individuals responsible for the messages.

    hehehe...gi unsa pag trace?

basta naay medium, ma trace man gyud na.
