Pinakbet allergy - need substitute sa uyap

Unsay pde i-substitute sa uyap? allergihon man gud ko but hilig jud ko ani pakbet.
anyone tried ginamos? I read somewhere nga ang orig jud na pinakbet kay ginamos daw gigamit.

everytime i cook pinakbet wala jud na sagul ug uyap,jst like you i'm also allergic to it,oh well its still pinakbet to me,dauga lang na sa imo pagtimpla

try canned anchovies take off the small bones first and mashed it with a spoon to make a paste use it as a substitute works better than fish sauce. or go buy imported thai fish sauce they are much stronger and less salty.

havent tried the anchovies but patis worked for me
can anyone point out asa diri sa ako ingridients considered as "katol"?
