that depends on the terms and conditions of the policy. especially when it comes to insurance, you have to carefully read the fine print, particularly on the exclusions

Description:
1. Property Insurance covers nominated photographic equipment against
accidental damage, theft or physical loss while inside or outside the
place of residence or business premises.
2. Comprehensive General Liability is a cover designed for professional
photographers. It provides coverage that addresses business-related legal
worries in relation to third party claim for bodily injury and/or property
damage due to negligence arising out of Insured’s business operations.
3. Personal Liability is a cover designed for hobby photographers. It
answers for the liabilities of the insured in the event the insured is
held financially and legally liable for property damage or bodily injury
to a third party due to the insured’s negligence.
4. Overseas Extension provides protection of nominated photographic
equipment against accidental damage, theft or physical loss whilst on
travel status abroad.
5. Vehicle Extension provides protection of nominated photographic
equipment against accidental damage, theft or physical loss whilst in
transit on any type of conveyance.
6. Personal Accident with Medical Reimbursement provides indemnity to the
insured for loss of life, permanent disability or loss of a body part due
to an accident and medical reimbursement on actual medical expenses for
injuries sustained as a result of the covered accident.
7. Assistant’s Medical Expense provides indemnity to the insured’s
assistant for loss of life, permanent disability or loss of a body part
due to an accident and medical reimbursement on actual medical expenses
for injuries sustained as a result of an accident. Up to 2 assistants can
be enrolled under this cover.
8. Damage to Portfolio Covers the insured’s collection of photographic
prints and laminates but only for the value of the materials together with
the cost of re-duplicating, re-laminating and/or re-printing, not for the
value to the insured of the information contained therein.
9. Hire of Equipment offers compensation for hire of alternative equipment
whilst awaiting repair and/or replacement of property insured, subjected
of an approved claim.
