The Robotics & Mechanisms Laboratory at Virginia Tech is a facility for graduate and undergraduate robotics research and education with an emphasis on studying novel mobile robot locomotion strategies. Our research interests are in the area of Robot Locomotion and Manipulation, Kinematics and Mechanisms, and Autonomous Systems.

thanks guys.. kung naa moy links pod sa uban nga robot experiments, post lang pod mo diri.
after seeing STriDER's movements nga unique sa iyaha, i opted to post it here kay basig naa poy mga addict sa robots ning lugara. the robots' movements were really different from our normal perspective of how robots move especially kato mura'g amoeba and the strider.

I just realized that, one day, while designing robots, if its onboard AI is already complex enough to understand why it's not moving properly, it might just recommend to its maker (because at this point in time, it's not yet THAT autonomous as to make the necessary chances itself) the necessary material, technique and building improvements/replacements, so that it could become a better robot/do its intended job better...
...and that (if it dawned on you like how I realized it) is none other, than an act of mimicking evolution.
