Thank you mods for letting me have this opportunity to start a new thread in one of the sections here in your forum website. I started this thread to be able to get feedbacks from fellow nurses who are already on the fast track on their careers that they might share any TIPS or ADVICES to those who are still struggling and waiting for their turns, including me.

Please do post here gyud any informations that can help us mga "strugglers" for any updates including but not limited to: SEMINARS, TRAININGS and most especially HIRINGS.

Issues also regarding Graduate Studies will be highly appreciated. Please post some tips on where we could best enroll and where there might be a high chance for us to have a flexible schedule and most especially great ideas and ways we can accomplish thesis that are needed for the completion of requirements.

i know how hard it is to find trainings these days for nurses. however, trying to orient urself prior to any formal training doesnt hurt at all...it will even give u familiarization of the process. here are some basic responsibilities of a nurse abroad which nurses dont usually do (except for IV insertion) in the philippines: the link below:

Phlebotomy
Blood Cultures
Peripheral IV Catheter Insertion

i hope this will help give u an idea as to wat nurses are actually doing in the field away from home.

tip : at the hospital where i am working now, mga previous training are not really that important because they will train u again when you are hired.. so paying thousands for BLS training and other training2x na usahay wlay klaro kau is negligible. sayang lang wawarts
