How to convert files recorded in mini DV digicam to DVD?

I have a JVC digital video camera and wants to transfer the files i recorded into the mini DV tape to my PC. My camera has a USB and DV connectors. I tried using the USB connector and it can download only still pictures recorded in the memory card.

Do I need to buy a capture card? or firewire? Where and how much? Can anybody help me pls.

Get a firewire cable (DV cable) If your PC doesnt have a firewire port, get one

Then you can use windows movie maker (comes standard with windows) just use the wizard should be easy as 1-2-3 from there

If you dont plan to get a cable and a f card then you need to plug USB on the PC and set your camera to transfer video via USB and you have to connect audio out cable to your LINE IN port and configure the settings sa movie maker.

FIrewire(DV) is a lot less complicated
