help slow connection due to ethernet adapter?

does this make make the connection run slow? I bought one it says 10/100 is this max capacity for it?
i have a 2 mb connection and its fine on my other pc's other than this one so is this the case? can anyone help? it only gets a connection of 250 kbps

Possible. How about replace it to other ethernet adapters enable you to check if its defective or not.

not really tech savvy so i will then check it with other stuffs or try other brands

I would also want to know what the 10/100M stand for on the box does anyone know? is this like the max speed the device can handle? i would appreciate

di kaau ko sweto pero naa namany 100/1000 man cguro to ang new gigabyte naman cguro to kana kay 100mb pa man na pero for checking much better palit ka laing adapter around 200 naman lang cguro na karon ang ethernet adapter then you can try if di man gani ma usab meaning dili sa ethernet ang problem. anyway magamit man ghapon na nimo di man na ma sayang para na backup inkaso ma kidlatan imong ethernet naa kay backup.

10/100 is 10mbps/100mbps.. its a specification and speed of your mobo/lan card, utp wires, switches.

this should be moved to Networking & Internet..
