Default Help me decide on which LCD monitor to buy

    AOC 2236Vw versus Samsung P2050

    Price:
    22" AOC 2236Vw - Php8,290 @ Silicon Valley
    20" Samsung P2050 - Php8,100 @ PCQB

    LINKS TO MANUFACTURER'S SITES
2236Vw AOC Monitor the Worldwide Leader in Display Manufacturing

20" wide elegantly designed LCD monitor P2050 - LCD Monitor - Monitor | SAMSUNG

Ang labaw ra sa Samsung akong nakit-an is ang response time, which is 2ms, versus 5ms for the AOC.
No idea pa sa actual image quality wala pa nako na demo ang units.
Other concern is basin AOC brand not as durable or not as good after sales service compared to Samsung.

    Any opinions?

Basin today nako paliton or tommorow.

Pang gaming ni siya? Unsa imo video card if pang gaming ni? Naa na ba'y led monitor dha sa cebu?

Minimal gaming. Low end PC, 6600 LE AGP pa ang video card. So mga old games ra idagan ani.
But the same monitor will still be used when system is upgraded.

Mao nangita pod ko og LED monitor, but wala pako nakit-an dire sa Cebu.

correction. let me clarify. there are some resolution which i dont like.

i tend to choose monitors that support these resolution
    800x600
    1024x768
    1280x1024
    1680x1050
    1920x1080

    AOC - 1920x1080
    Samsung P2050 - 1600x900
    Samsung t220 - 1680x1050

i forgot what kind of resolution these are. i think i had bad experiences (bad displays or streched displays) that are not on those resolution. ambut lang with the latest drivers.

Sakto ma stretch jud if lahi ang aspect ratio sa app imo gidagan compared sa native aspect ratio.

So far 2 na nag suggest sa Samsung P2050
