Philosophy of what? Subject is very broad... maybe you'd like to narrow it down to a particular topic.

    Logic? Philosophy of Man, Religion?

dba na'y AB philosophy na course?
maybe the ts was asking kung how do the graduates of this course find real jobs and how they earn a living base from the course that they had taken...
i don't think the ts is asking for a specific topic or branch of philosophy...

thx maddox_pit! Yup! i do know philo is an engaging and interesting topic but how can it help people get money (other than teaching or studying for law) like how principles can be used for business research etc.

applying logic, syllogisms can greatly help in decision making regardless it's personal or business. . . . I loved what my professor used to tell us . .

"Be REASONABLE with your emotion and NOT EMOTIONAL with your reason"

    and

"The mind always tell us to do the RIGHT thing, while the heart asked us to do the GOOD things, not all Good are Right and vice versa"

These are just sayings, but true enough, it had helped me in my decision making all the time....

.. the academics of life is very different from the academics of philosophy you learn in school. You may have the basic ideas of things from the points of views from different authors, but as you grow old or have experienced the facets of life first hand, that would be the best teaching.

.. like your inquiry of making money or landing you a job. Well, you have to think first what you're capable of, ok to make it short. Make a plan that is FEASIBLE to you.

    Default Philosophy my friend!!!!!!!!!!!!

Philosophy is not confined anywhere!! That is the basic arithmetic of this field. One to be a called a philosopher (worthy of the title of course) he should be a person who thinks outside the box. Who asks things which can be seen or that which cannot be seen... It is always a passion; in any real since.

In real life application as to what job one would lead. That is a very good, real, hard question to answer..well anyway to tell you honestly, the graduate of AB Philo have a hard time finding jobs save for those who pursues priesthood, law, and teaching career. The reason why they found it hard to land a job...the Philippines is a poor country who needs artisans or craftsman rather than thinkers or those who contemplates the happenings of the world. We Filipinos are more concerned of what to eat rather than of how we solve the problem of hunger and poverty. The issues that concerns the long term are cast away in the hope that the short term need may be resolved... but what is really needed? how do we measure the gap that lies or bounds between both worlds? whose to decide the need?

hehehehe...philosophy starts after philosophizing....this is the world of philosophy
