which will i choose? higher proc or higher vcard?

If you were me, which upgrade would you choose?

(I actually started a thread asking about what vcard to buy with a given budget. Just recently, I was able to get some source of funds so I can be able to choose between two upgrades. Im sorry if I ask too many questions. Heheh.. but Saturday namangud ko mupalit and I want to be sure.)

So here are the 2 choices:

I can only choose one between the two upgrades. I know the vcard upgrade is really worth the additional money I am going to spend BUT I would be stuck with my 533mhz fsb, and somebody told me that the 533mhz fsb could hinder the power of the vcard. He is not sure though, and that is why im asking for advise here.

If I choose the proc upgrade, I don’t really know what difference it can make. I can benefit from the 800mhz, Hyperthreadng, and 2mb L2cache but I would have to buy the cheaper ddr2 vcard if I choose the proc upgrade.

So, which one is it?

let me get this straight..youre going to upgrade your current 7300GT to a hihger 7300GT? makes no sense to me..even upgrading from a 3ghz north to a 3ghz prescott (or is that cedar mill?imnot familiar with intel procs) wont give you that much boost

I think whoopz is asking whether he should upgrade his processor from a 533fsb 1mb cache to 800fsb 2mb cache...
or
upgrade his 7300gt ddr2 to 7300gt ddr3...

For me, I'd go for the processor. In newer systems, PCI, AGP, and PCI Express peripheral buses often receive their own clock signals, which eliminates their dependence on the frontside bus for timing and a faster frontside bus means higher processing speeds and a faster computer.

With a larger cache, the computer needs less time time accessing for data from the hard disk.

i think he is asking advice on which one sa upat ka possible upgrade nag nindot, yell with your current CPU getting the 800Mhz version wont really give that much of an FPS boost ingames compared to getting the 7300GT with GDDR3

ive read from differnt sites about the 7300GT it seems to be the best budget card around, surpassing performance levels of 6600GT, and those are based on DDR2 benches pa, with the GDDR3 im expecting its stock clock is a bit higher and it should overclock even better.

if i recall correctly i think he already has the 533 1mb cache processor and some other MX-class videocard. between both the GFX card should give him a greater boost in games.
