Post-LASIK problems / complications?

Ok ba magpaLASIK? unsa man complications? kung kinsa nakatry, post daw ug mga comments...good and not so good.

my uncle had one sa chh. he is also a doctor. pros: you dont need to wear eyeglasses anymore. cons: there could be backjobs like my uncle's eyes... he had to get it redone after 6 months coz ni balik.

basta look for a 4th generation and up Lasik machine to get more accurate shape of the cornea......

@dagget: kinsa man naa pinaka lastest na generation?

^ nope, dli jd balik as in ..coz i think iya grade 800 or so man sad. i think mga 100-200 cgro. not sure. but i *think* free naman ang backjobs ana.

on a sidenote, i had a friend sauna who was studying to be an optometrist and i asked for his opinion about lasik2x and etc. i think he said he doesnt recommend getting it done if based on his life principles but then the bottomline is, he would still hawk it to his future clients coz its a business man daw.

its been 8 years na since I had my eyes lazered.so far no side effects for me now but before I experienced dry eyes and I have to use eye lubricants everytime I woke up.my grade hasn't come back.And if ever I'll have old eyes na in the future I'll surely have it lazered again.The best decision I had ever made. :mrgreen:

what's the best thing to do... im willing to wait anyway..
have Lasik now or wait for the "bestest" available machine and hopefully prices get cheaper? or have it done now?

unsa diay nga life principles ang mo go against aning lasik? what does your friend mean?
