makaguba ba ni sa pc kung gagamit ta mukalit lang ug brownout? maka corrupt ba ni sa files? or worst lose any files sa hard drive?

they say, the hard drive has the capability to move its read/write head in the event of power loss pero before, its the hard drive that usually dies first because the head crashes into the platter. if you are in the middle of a bios update, goodbye mobo sad.

unsa na mobo? i experienced this with my EP45-UD3R pero dual-bios man, automatic ra ni copy ang main bios sa backup bios tapos re-flash lang ko to latest version kay ang backup bios, original man nga file.

most mobos have backup utility naman, asus has crash-free where you only have to put the original disc or the bios rom file in a bootable device then turn the computer on (kung dili siguro ang boot block ang na corrupt, idk) and it'll automatically re-flash.
