@TS: Doh daghan kag angay i consider ana why mo init imong procie. Like poor chassis airflow, incorrect mounting of cpu fan cooler, improper apply or lack of thermal paste etc...
Ive been using AMD processors all over my life and its true init jud cya so ako gi buhat just add ventillation and find a perfect chassis to fit niya. Add some cable management to avoid blocking air circulation. Even mod a chassis to add auxiliary fans on it.
Ive encountered recently a newly build AMD processor Athlon II X2 240 ako kahibungan why mo abot manjud cya ug 60C-75C on stock HSF niya ug cge ug shutdown kay ni abot na diay iyang thermal limit sa procie. Ive tried a lot of test ako napud gi kuha ang mobo from chassis unsa pana diha ako ra nabantayan kay ang pag butang sa HSF niya the HSF lock should be on top dili sa ubos. So mao to I have proven nga mao diay cause and now its been 3 weeks na normal na iyang temps no more problem steady at 35C-45C stock HSF no air condition.
@TS: Kanang mga new AMD Athlon II, Phenom II processors kay I think 45nm nana cya then iyang TDP murag 45w nana pud if wa ko masayop so less heat problem and energy efficient than the old amd processors.Last edited by yugi; 12-03-2009 at 12:08 AM.

Ahhh.. Thanks keu sir yugi. ^^ So dapat jd sakto pagkabutang ang HSF and mas nice if mu buy kog lain HSF kysa on stock. And mas maayu if dako ang chasis then butngan daghan fans noh?

naay baligya anang DEep Cool HSF sa buy and sell section tag 900 ra choi kaayu...just make sure to buy pud a good thermal compound...

ngutana lang pud unta ko about sa fan... ako case kay 5 ka fans 3x80mm and 2x120mm. dili ba ni siya makaguba? Generic raraba ako PSU 350w. Unya Mobo, VC, 1HDD, and 1x2GB RAM ra nuon ang sud walay Optical drive. basin unya muhinay ang suppy sa ako computer unya magka shoshort ko. naa pa diay mga LED ang tanan fan unya 2 ka CPU lights sad.

depende sa imo lugar, our ambient is high in this country. But normal stock heatsink with stock speed won't be a problem, unless you really messed up with your thermal paste.

@jason, 350W + generic pa gyud.. unsa ni bro gihangyo?.. karaan ni siya bro?
hulat lang bro puhon maka-ilis gyud ka og 500W ana bro..
arang2x lang tato kung 500W bahalag generic kay kanang 350W nimo dili man gud na 350 gyud.. basig 300 or 250W rana ang mahatag sa imo PSU sa imo system.. pero sige lang basig kaya pa niya..

@ 350W hehehehe gamay sipyat guba hardware parts nimo jud. Plus the risk of using generic PSU will probably sent your PC to hell kuyaw jud na doh. Invest ug branded PSU for sure.
