CD-R King Dual Layer DVDs - Anyone using?

Hello there guys, anyone there who has been using the dual layer dvds in CD-R King? I personally like the Bear (gray and white) dual layer dvd but I totally hate the Pink dual layers.

CD-R King hasn't restocked yet a new set of dual layer dvds so wala pa ang bear dual layers. Ang exisiting nila karon kay ang pink stars and in my experience, out of 10 dual layers, only 4 of it works. My problem is that whenever the burning process is done and the verification stage comes next, I get plenty of data verification failed messages. I already changed dvd-roms but I still get plenty of those messages. Even if i terminate unwanted applications in the background while burning, I still get a lot of the messages.

Just imagine, a single dual layer costs 30 pesos. If you bought 10 and 6 failed, that's already a big loss for you since CD-R King just nabbed 180 pesos in me. If I burn discs aside from the pink dual layers, they all work fine bisag mag multitask pa ko.

Anyone out there having the same problem with these dual layers? I have waste a lot of money already with these defective dual layers.

I've tried imation na tag 40 from CD-R King. I used it when for a friend who wants to have a copy of an ISO. Mi error ang usa ka CD when I enabled verification after burning. Ang uban na wa nako gi verify have no errors. Using win7.

same experience here with the pink stars. out of 10 at least half would fail. tsk tsk tsk.. sa wa pa ka-experiance ani, NEVER lay your hands on those pink stars DL kay magmahay ra mo. I ended up buying branded DL dvds instead. try nya nako ng mga bear2x kay wa ko kasuway ana. I stayed away from CDR King DL dvds naman gud since nahitabo to kay makatagam. tsk tsk tsk

Naa diay dual layer na imation? I didn't know about this lagi and I'm surprised its only 40 pesos. Gonna check this out when CD-R King restocks.

The bear series dual layers really served well on me. I never had any data verification failed messages with that dual layer. At first skeptic kaayo ko ato nga disc but it really worked perfectly. Nahurot lang ug dali ang bear and for some reason wala pa mag-restock ang CD-R King on dual layers. If dili pa mo-restock ang CD-R King up to now, tendency is we are still gonna use the pink dual layers if naa pay mailad ang CD-R King. If mahurot na? all dual layers are out of stock na gyud.

I have been waiting gyud for the store to restock. Almost 1 month na ko nag-huwat sa new dual layers. I am seriously boycotting the pink dual layers gyud. That disc is a waste.

Also, if you look closely on the pink dual layers(the reflective surface), you will notice some wavey-wavey textures on the disc. I haven't seen anything like this in any discs whether burned or blank. It must be the reason why it keeps on failing

I already asked some employees sa CD-R King about ani nga problem. But they only answered me "Wala siguro nimo gi-restart ang PC sir before ka mag-burn" or "Wala siguro ka mag-defrag sa imong pc sir before burning". I was like what the hell. So I only told those employees to give me my damn discs nalang. Di nalang ko mopalag kay basin magtuo sila elitist kaayo ta

Naka try pud ko ug burn with DL, pero kanang gi ingon nimo nga design nga walay stock, kay kato sila nindot dyud to ug klase mao gamay ra casualty, casualty tawag nako ana kay patay man wakekekekek...

Another reason sa failure kay ang speed sa pag burn nimo, try to burn lower pa sa speed nga gi indicate sa Disc.

Ana man dyud na mo try dyud ta ug buy kanang alternative if wala pay stock sa atong paborito, once we know gani nga bati ug quality avoid that item nalang, so switch napud to another disc, hangtod maka pili ka nindot ug klase so mao nalang to balik balikon ug palit. Naa dyud ko CDR nga gi palit nako 20pcs then 17pcs puro casualty.. katong clear nga CDR walay design... then katong 3 ka CD's nga na store nako 3moths pag tan.aw nako balik na peal bitaw na ang surface...

Nah didto ko ganina sa CDRKing IT Park hurot hurot naman ilang mga CD's and DVD's, Usa ra dyud ka design ang permi nako balik ug palit like cheap

tg palit mn sad kog dual layer dvd sa cdrking..so far katong bear and the pink la mn koy problem..pro mas gnahan jd hnuon ko sa gray bear na dual layer nla but la na stock..katong la nay stock before ang bear DL nag buy na lng ko katong single layer na dvd (4.7gb)..kay f mag burn ko lyk f naa mo copy ug games installer na more than 5gb ang size ako lng i cut using winrar by part lyk 700mb per part pra ma burn nko sa 2 ka single layer na dvd..pakapinan lng nko winrar installer in case walay winrar ako ghatagan copy..of course it takes time jud hnuon pg compress ug pg extract..
