Question here!

I already have two CD-Roms. If I'm going to put on a DVD-RW drive to my cpu, will it slow down my PC? Unsa may side-effects if mo-add ko ug lain pang drive? Bale, mahimo na tulo ako drives in this case.

dili mana mo slow ang performance sa imong pc kay optital drive raman kaha na.......unya tarong nga lang up setup sa imong slave ug master....ok

it's an additional resource overhead to your OS but the side-effect's negligible. you only have to make sure that your drives aren't defective and that your power supply is sufficient.

Make sure that your DVD-RW drive's firmware is updated. Ensure that your IDE cables are of good quality.

Additional info : kung imong na butangan og mga CD kanang tulo na cdrom drive im sure may time few second mag hang. pero balik cguro hehehe.

Basically this is a bit dependent on the resources of your pc like the processor, memory, power supply, etc.
