i tried connecting my pc to my hdtv thru hdmi. when i set the resolution to the tv's native resolution (1920x1080) it doesnt use the whole screen but if i set it to 1680x1050 it fills up the screen. if i use a vga connector (15 pin), it also utilizes the whole screen when i set it to 1920x1080. does anyone know how i can make the hdmi connection display 1920x1080 at full screen?

murag mag depende sa supported reso sa imo tv bro...naa mi silingan na (****x900) ra iya ma support(bisan unsa reso basta x 900), out of range mo gawas if lain ang set sa resolution...try lang.

tv is samsung 32b530
vid card is sapphire 4850 toxic
sakto iya reso kung vga cable but kung hdmi mura gi scale down. nag vga cable nalang ko ron kay dili pa nako ma fix.

basin kailangan pa niya i detect imong hdtv na info kay usahay mo limit man gud ang card nimo dipende sa imong output device kay naka setup mana daan ang mga limits niya for specific monitors. try daw read sa imo hdtv if unsa iya resolution na max thru hdmi and also try sa imo hdmi player if ok ba iyang resolution try playing with your tv's video settings kay basin ma agian ra na nimo inig configure ana.

thats wierd bro i have a 7300GT and connected to an LG 32LF20 via DVI-HDMI, its full screen 1920 x 1080p although i have to set the TV to Just to Fit instead of 16:9

Catalyst detects the tv as a samsung lcd tv. and sakto iya maximum resolution, 1920x1080. ang problema lang gyud kay kung i set nako to 1920x1080 mu scale down nya mu bati na hinuon ang image. kung 1680 full screen xa. try lang nako unya ang setting nga just fit.but wala ba loss sa quality since gi scale down siya nya gi stretch sa tv?
