Please help me choose between Gigabyte Superb 460 vs Hec Raptor 500

im assembling a pc for an office mate. here are the specs:

core 2 duo e7500
gigabyte ga-g31es2c
2gig ddr2
640gig western digital caviar black
palit 9600gt sonic 1gig
antec 300 case
dvd rw

supposed to be gigabyte superb 460w ako pili-on nga power supply pero na discourage man ko pagkakita nako sa iya dual 12v rails ky
12v1 = 14a 12v2 = 15a di ba maba ra kaayo? the price is P2,100

naakoy nakit-an lain which is a hec raptor 500w dual 12v rails gyapon pero higher iya amps.

12v1 = 19a 12v2 = 19a tag 2,300 ang price.




which of these power supplies is better? i think the hec raptor is better but i need your opinions.
but i noticed also nga walay nakabutang active power factor correction sa hec raptor. importante man ni diba?

Go for HEC bro! if wa ko masayop 500W true power na cya at dual rail. Been using that for 2 years never failed me!

but i would like a more detailed explanation on why this particular hec model is better than this particular gigabyte model or vice versa.

example: this hec is better becoz it has higher amps on its 12v rails compared to the particular gigabyte model. or this gigabyte is better becoz it has active pfc while that particular hec does not have active pfc.

id go for the hec although gagmay ilang mga 12amp ratings dili man sad siya gamay para sa mga branded with that price budget. kalimot ko about sa pfc pero mas maau active pfc kay mo help na siya sa efficiency nimo mo adjust2x man daw na siya basi sa input na voltage sad.
