    Default Dell Optiplex GX620 Upgrade Question


    Hello guys, can i upgrade this to Core 2 Duo processor? is it possible? I just want to improve the speed for my multi tasking work. Or any suggestion to speed up this computer? Thanks

    DELL has proprietary mobos, so limited lang upgrade options nimo. however im not really 100% sure kung pweden imo kaalisdan ang proc ani...try chatting with DELL Tech support, just be ready with the service tag of the computer...

    your mobo might now recognize the new processor... depende man gud na sa bios nga ilang ki issue...

    sakto si sir vontech.... you need to call the dell tech support.... lolz.... basin imung ka isotrya kay taga etelecare

    better jud dell support bro chat with them they're easy to deal with. naka chat sad ko about sa ako laptop sa ila quick and easy. kalimot lang ko sa link. try search sa ilang site jud.

    in most cases, you can upgrade the processor but Dell will only recommend those processors that they've tested.. usually those are the processors that are available on the market when your computer was manufactured..

    para nako noh you can upgrade at your own risk.. basin pwede ra mga E4*** series nga core 2 duo but di ko sure..

    if the processor is not compatible then buy a compatible mobo nalang pud for a new pc.. hehe

    @TS murag kita nko ani na post from another forum site, and it's a very old POST and the specs you posted here have the exact carbon copy from this site. just wondrin'.
