    Default call center labor code for breaks


    hi guys,
    just want to ask opinion from all of you, recently, i had an argument with my TL about this break sched... imagine! amo log in is 5.30 1st break 5.45 and amo lunch is 11.00pm then last break 1.00 and out mi at 2am... do u think sakto na pagka forecast nila, naa bay labor code na gisupak ani?/

    no such thing, pag bo.ot na sa companya nga unsa mo oras mag break, for some reasons,, may gali completo inyong mga breaks, uban gali maka break lang ug maka sale,

    IMOH , wala man tingali labor code set for Call Center, its just one labor code applies to all nature of work,

    may gani naa mu breaks...nya 8 hours pajud... kung di ka ganahan ana balhin nalang ug lain nga nindot pagkahimutang ang breaks pero tag 11-12 hours ang duty...nahan ka?

    Art. 85. Meal periods. Subject to such regulations as the Secretary of Labor may prescribe, it shall be the duty of every employer to give his employees not less than sixty (60) minutes time-off for their regular meals.

    ok raman inyu breaks.. meju dali ra kau ang 1st break. 15 mins after login dayun.. im not familiar sa law but all in all you were given a break schedule, that should be enough for compliance

    maayo na kaau na imoha brod!

    ako gani for this week kay makahasi kaau..

    shift starts 8AM
    shift ends 5PM

    1st break: 11:45AM - 12:00PM
    2nd break: 2:00PM-2:15 PM
    lunch break: 3:15PM-4:15PM

    after aning lunch kay 45 mins. nalang ko mglogin.. usapa daw na ang break break lunch na scheduling.. kaya na nimo if hyperon pa gyud ka? tsk tsk tsk

    shift starts at 2:30AM

    First Break: 4:15AM
    Lunch: 6:15AM
    Last Break: 9:30AM


    and i like it!!!

    share sad ko 11 hrs/day 3 rest days.

    shift starts 7:30 AM
    1st break 10:30
    2nd break 12:30
    3rd break 3:30
    shift ends 6:30 AM

    Bro, I don't see any wrong with breaks., labor code only mandated the 60mins break, which you were provided. As for breaks, the short or long gap of time is due to forecasting of the number of incoming calls based from historical data which is provided by your account's global command center. this can however be corrected by proper and effecient work schedule plotting, trabaho na sa forcedesk (i guess) in our case, TL's do the work schedule and submit it to forcedesk for plotting.
