I have been a sony ericsson user for quite some time now. I upgraded my phone to W705 due to it's wifi features. After a month of use, the phone suddenly is unable to detect my wifi network at home and since then I was not able to use this phone for internet browsing, email, chat, etc. I need to be online all the time to attend to customer queries, complaints, deliver deliverables on time, etc.
I decided to bring it in for repair since it is still under warranty. Grabeh jud kabati sa ilang service. The technician told me to be back after an hour. Paghuman, mao ra diay japun to. Wa jud maayo ang phone. After a few days, I received a text message from them saying that the phone needed level 3 repair and need to be sent to Manila. I asked them how long this would take. They answered 2 months and there is no assurance that the phone will be fixed. I replied okay. But 4 days later, naa ra diay japun to sa service center. Grabeh 4 days na nilabay wa pa japun mapadala. The reason they gave me was that they are not authorized to open the phone, so ayaw ko ingna na gatambak ang mga defective phone didto sa isa ka center, who knows kanus.a maasekaso ang imo unit. This would mean na maghuwat pa ko two months usa nako mahibaw.an if maayo ba nila or dili. I tried to ask for a replacement kay in that same store/SE service center (a.k.a. Airtouch) man gipalit, but they told me again na wala dili sila mohatag replacement kay 3 days ra kuno ang ila replacement. Na hala ambot. Maayo pa diay ang NOKIA ani na 1 week ra ang repair and while your phone is being repaired tagaan ka ug same unit as service na magamit. Naunsa man tawn ning serbisyoha oi!!!
I just want all fellow istoryans to know this, so if you choose a phone you would think twice on choosing SE kay pagkaway klaro sa ilang service center.
