    Thumbs down SONY ERICSSON's VERY POOR SERVICE


    I have been a sony ericsson user for quite some time now. I upgraded my phone to W705 due to it's wifi features. After a month of use, the phone suddenly is unable to detect my wifi network at home and since then I was not able to use this phone for internet browsing, email, chat, etc. I need to be online all the time to attend to customer queries, complaints, deliver deliverables on time, etc.
    I decided to bring it in for repair since it is still under warranty. Grabeh jud kabati sa ilang service. The technician told me to be back after an hour. Paghuman, mao ra diay japun to. Wa jud maayo ang phone. After a few days, I received a text message from them saying that the phone needed level 3 repair and need to be sent to Manila. I asked them how long this would take. They answered 2 months and there is no assurance that the phone will be fixed. I replied okay. But 4 days later, naa ra diay japun to sa service center. Grabeh 4 days na nilabay wa pa japun mapadala. The reason they gave me was that they are not authorized to open the phone, so ayaw ko ingna na gatambak ang mga defective phone didto sa isa ka center, who knows kanus.a maasekaso ang imo unit. This would mean na maghuwat pa ko two months usa nako mahibaw.an if maayo ba nila or dili. I tried to ask for a replacement kay in that same store/SE service center (a.k.a. Airtouch) man gipalit, but they told me again na wala dili sila mohatag replacement kay 3 days ra kuno ang ila replacement. Na hala ambot. Maayo pa diay ang NOKIA ani na 1 week ra ang repair and while your phone is being repaired tagaan ka ug same unit as service na magamit. Naunsa man tawn ning serbisyoha oi!!!
    I just want all fellow istoryans to know this, so if you choose a phone you would think twice on choosing SE kay pagkaway klaro sa ilang service center.

    asa ka nga service center nagpa-ayo boss? had same experience... and sa akong thread some suggested nga adto sa ayala daw kay well experienced ilang mga taw didto...

    parehas nas akoa pud, dnha sa sm ay... akong gpa-check akong unit k810i kay dili mo-charge, dghan na kaau clag explanation kay kelangan daw ilisan ang software ba to or kelangan daw e-reformat ang phone. maau ra gyud na wala na lng nko pahilabti kay mkabayad pko, samot kaguba akong phone. diay to, luag ra ang slot sa charger. wa juy klaro.

    toinks.. grabeha gud bro.. nangutana sad ko sauna sa SM nila nga branch diha sa cyberzone if pila ang pa-ilis sa casing sa k800i.. daghan kay tog gikwenta2x ang babae dayun ingon P8,000 daw tanan..

    Sa cyberzone bai diha sa North Wing. Ako nalang gikuha akong phone kay wa jud silay klaro. Maayo unta na makabasa ang uban aron di na sila mahitaboan sa atong na.experience.

    dugay na jud ni nga issue sa SE service centers, whether sa ayala or SM.

    my advice? ayaw na lang palit ug SE. sayang lang ang imung 1 year warranty kay ilang service centers walay mga pulos. i had a c702 before and muabot na lang ug 1 year cge ko balik2x sa service center wa jud gihapon naayu. kung i-total ang months nga nagamit nako ang phone, wala kaabot ug 4 months kay most of the time naa nila ug "giapadala" kuno sa manila.

    Sakto jud!!! They have a very poor service jud. Ang fone sa akong manghod less than a week pa nagamit, naguba na dayon den dapat ilisan jud unta to ug bag-o kay less than a week pa man, laliman ka ipadala sa manila then 2-3 months pa usa mabalik, nabuang na lang. Dako jud kaayo ko ug nagasto kay sge ko long distance sa sony ericsson phils kay naglagot man jud ko. Mas maayo pa adto mo dretso kol sa manila kay kanang naa diri sa cebu, gihimo ra na nilang tawo2x sa kahumayan. di jud na sila katubag sa imong mga concerns. mura na sila ug kanang naa sa call center ba nga memorize na daan ang ilang itubag sa mga customers.

    good thing i dont like SE Phones... much better ang nokia

    Mao na mahal kaayo ang mga SE phones kay great build quality kuno unya diay to ang service center way ayo.

    Mao na di sila ma top 1 sa market tungod ana ila style. Sony pajud sus saon nalang.
