branded pc - hp or acer or something else?

after 2 yrs of smooth sailing, our hp pc died.. ni burot capacitor and even if kadaghan gi change, guba lang ghapon..

now, im in the market for a new pc..my dad will be using it and he doesn't want clones coz sauna cge ra ka guba ang clones.. so must be branded... budget of around 30k.

unsa may nindot a brand in ur experience guys

kung nindot unta ang service sa lamco (distributor sa hp in cebu and one of the service centers daw..) wala may problem unta.. pero na tagam ko didto..

so help mo choose... acer (which i heard na gubaon daw mga laptops..pero the service center is medyo kaila namo) or hp (so far ok ang 2 yr performance but after that , wala nay ayo..hasta ilang service center).. or unsa pay lain ok na brand?

have a clone..

at 30k for a CPU only, u will a quadcore with 2gb of ram , a 512MB-256bit VC thats crysis capable , a dvdrw and 500GB of HDD

@ 30K the difference between clone pc and banded pc is just the brand name..

but not @ 100K branded CPU from distinguished PC boutiques such voodooPC | alienwares etc.


for clone pc. it just depends on hu set-up ur pc..

but i specified no clones. my dad wont be playing any games on it so no need for quadcore. he wants branded because he believes that its more reliable..

btw, we might be buying 2 (not branded ang other 1). for 15k, what kind of cpu can i get man?

branded pc pang noobs hahaha jokes bitaw i always love DIY pc builds
kay makakat on ka and u can choose your parts
anyway they say nga mas reliable ang branded but for me the same rana sa clones oi
with your 30k budget i can already have a DIY pc with aluminum chasis i can put good brands of components also.....

but if ganahan ka na ready to use and dili naka maghago go for branded desktops

ang di nako ganahan sa branded kay ang ila mga mobo kay proprietary with limited features ra nya mahal kau...
similar lang mga OEM builders sa mga parts oi so di jud ta kaingon nga ang branded mas maayo sa close.. it's just a matter of rebranding..hehe

@aditti aw if mao na bro go for branded desktops, akoa ma recommend is lenovo nga brand i think nay lenovo nga pentium dual core around 30k
akoa reason why lenovo akoa recomend because IBM mana nga products hehehe and we all know IBM nag pioneer sa PC hehehe and so far base sa feedbacks akoa kaila na nagamit lenovo so far ok kaayo daw hehehe
