Overview
Project management is a management discipline. To help manage the people involved in projects, project managers need
management skills such as goal-setting, time management, running effective meetings, communications, and managing
information.
Managing a project involves four separate, interrelated steps: understanding the project, defining what it will deliver and how to
deliver it, planning the project, and running it. These steps require specialized skills unique to managing projects as well as
general management skills. The entire discipline operates within the project management context.

certain field of knowledge. This 2-day program discusses the entire project management discipline and equips project managers
with the pivotal skills needed in leading projects effectively.
