KATY PERRY ROCKS FOR RELIEF

Philippine Airlines is the official carrier of the ‘Katy Perry Rocks for Relief!’ concert this November 14, 2009 at the Mall of Asia Concert Grounds. All net proceeds shall be donated to the Philippine National Red Cross as support for those affected by recent typhoons Ondoy and Pepeng.

Book and buy at www.philippineairlines.com and get a chance to snag two (2) Katy Perry for Relief in Manila!

The PAL ticket purchased must be worth at least Php3,000 (or its equivalent in other currencies) before taxes. The ticket may be domestic or international, one-way or roundtrip, economy or business class.

The winners will be drawn via electronic raffle on November 10, 2009.

Promo Mechanics:

1. The PAL Katy Perry Concert Online Promo (referred to as “Promo”) will run from October 28, 2009 to November 9, 2009 (“Promo Period”).

2. The Promo is open to all customers who are successful in booking flights worth at least Php3,000 (before tax) and pay online via credit card or BancNet ATM card at www.philippineairlines.com. Employees of Philippine Airlines, its advertising/PR agencies, and its accredited service providers including their relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified from joining the Promo.

3. The Promo is an online raffle where customers who are successful in booking a flight with Philippine Airlines online are invited to post on PAL’s official Facebook Fan page wall “The best thing about flying to <insert destination of online ticket purchased> is _____”. These posts, once qualified, will serve as entries for the online raffle. PAL’s official Facebook Fan Page is www.facebook.com/flyPAL.

4. For the posts to qualify as a valid entry, customers who post on the PAL Facebook fan page wall should also forward the itinerary receipt (e-ticket) that they received from Philippine Airlines to promo@pal.com.ph together with the link to their personal Facebook account.

Philippine Airlines will confirm the validity of the ticket. A verification email message will be sent, telling the user that his/her wall post is a qualified entry. Failure to agree to abide by the terms and conditions set forth in the mechanics shall disqualify the raffleant from joining the raffle.
Once qualified, the raffleant can no longer change or edit his/her entry. One post is considered one entry. A raffleant may submit more than one entry but he/she can only win once.

6. Deadline of submission of entries is on 9 November 2009.

7. A total of 150 Gold tickets to the Katy Perry Rocks for Relief concert happening on November 14, 2009 worth P2,200 each will be given away to 75 winners. Each winner will be awarded two (2) tickets only.

8. Winners will be generated via electronic raffle of qualified entries. The raffle draw will be held at the Philippine Airlines office located at the Corp. Communications Dept., 3F Mezzanine PNB Financial Center, Pres. Diosdado Macapagal Avenue, CCP Complex, Pasay City, with the presence of a DTI representative, on November 10, 10:00 am.

9. All customers who participate in the Promo (including winners) authorize Philippine Airlines to disclose and publish their names, photos and other particulars determined by the company to any person/s and in any mode or manner as Philippine Airlines may deem appropriate.

10. Philippine Airlines reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

11. All matters and disputes will be subject to the final decision of Philippine Airlines. All decisions made by Philippine Airlines pertaining to the Promo, with prior DTI approval, will be deemed final and irrevocable.

12. This promotion is subject to the Terms and Conditions of Philippine Airlines’ flight Terms and Conditions.

13. Prizes can be transferred but cannot be converted to cash. The prize tax of 20% in excess of Php10,000, if applicable, shall be shouldered by the customer.

14. Winners shall be announced online and shall be notified via telephone, email and Facebook wall post and inbox based on the customer’s contact details in Philippine Airline’s records.

15. Prizes can be claimed at Ogilvy and Mather, 15/F Philamlife Tower, Paseo de Roxas, Makati City from November 10-13, 2009, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm. Winners shall present a printed copy of their e-ticket (sent via their email) together with a valid ID as well as log-in to their Facebook account in order to claim the prize. The name on the ticket and the valid ID must be the same as the claimant.

16. Representatives of winners are allowed to claim the prizes as long as they meet the above requirements and bring a valid authorization letter with signature.

17. Unclaimed prizes shall be forfeited in favor of Philippine Airlines, with prior DTI approval.

no manila-KL promo? hUhU, nid it for december 09

in the last 3 years, i've been coming to the Pinas at least once a year. I tried to make an Online bookings with PAL. Everytime it reaches the credit card gateway step, the connection just breaks and cancel the transaction. I've "Allow All Cookies" and "Allow All Popups" on my browser. I'm with "Verified by VISA"....I've use either Windows or Linux OS. I've use either IE or SeaMonkey or Firefox in WinXP....I've use Seamoneky or Firefox in Linux...still it does NOT work.

Philippine Airlines Online Bookings just really sucks. That's my experience in the last 3 years....

PAL should find the right programmers who can properly do the CC gateway transaction.
