Default OS/drive problem pls help.. need help..

guys i really need ur help again..

pwede pa kaha ni marecover ang OS nako, or if dli, ang mga files nlng mski ang sa My Documents lang..

ing.ani ni, pagstart nko sa akong WindowsXP, dugay mn cya nakasolod, then after log-in, i noticed nga grabe kahinay sa iyang startup, paabot abot ko.. then hinay man kaayu gyud, so ako girestart (pushing the reset button )..

then dli na dayun cya musolod, or myb dugay lang kaayu but i restart it again habang ngload pa cya sa DOS.. i switched to my 2nd OS, the one i'm using right now to make this thread.. then pati kini dugay sad ngload sa WindowsXP nga welcome screen, then niperform cya og checkdisk (scanning/verification,etc. sa katong drive nga naay WindowsXP nga naguba).. taod2 sad, then during the process, dghan man to mga unreadable file record or segment something, then sa index verification nga part, naay mga deleting indexes etc.

when i try to load it again (tong WindowsXP nga naguba), dugay cya.. then mudisplay dayun cya ug:
Windows could not start because the folowing file is missing or corrupt:
    \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM

You can attempt to repair this file by starting Windows Setup using the original Setup CD-ROM.
Select 'r' at the first screen to start repair.

kaso wla man gud repair mode ni akong cd.. and problema kay pgboot nako using the windowsXP cd, nakita man ang mga drives, katong drive nga naguba ang OS kay unknown cya.. as if wla pa naformat gani.. wla nlng sa nako sad hilabti as formatting it will ensure the deletion of my files so wla nay chance masalbar pa kng pwede pman gani.. then sa My Computer (using my 2nd OS), Local Disk iyang display para ato nga drive, and mura cya ug muhang/not responding if akong etry og right click to nga drive..

any solution with this prob mga sirs? nikalit ra gyud ni pagturn on nako entawn..
ok lang unta jud kung dli lang cya moload sa windows, then makabrowse ko sa contents sa drive using another OS.. but in this case kay mura man og nahimo ug unformatted akong drive, so di nko masolod using differnt OS..

oooops, corrupted nana bro or tungod na tunong sa Bad Sector..

May unta na guba lang ang OS pero kanang blema ga inig click imo sa Drive tapos mo ingon ug Unformated mao nay mas labad sa ulo.

Di sad ko maka recommend to format that drive and use unformat application to restore the drive para ma kuha ang mga files.

Kana gani imong OS mag sige ug balik balik sa scandisk tapos dili nimo pa tiwason ug scan, naay uban ana tungod kay na daot ang file records or naay bad sectors.

Next time pa humana dyud na ug scan.

Kana nga sign padong nana retire ang HD.

hmm natinga lang gyud ko sir kay nikalit ra gyud cya ug kahinay, as in mrag kamang2 ug pilit pilit gyud at first startup mao to ako gireset.. didto na nabuang.. hmm, d man sad ko tigcancel sa scandisk b4 sir, and seldom rsad ko mgscandisk gyud..
2 years pa bya ni akoang HD kay kato pani Dec 2007..

mao lagi sir, ok ra jud tna kaayu bahalag guba ang OS ra or virusan kay atlist maexplore using other OS.. hayyss

BTW, wat do u mean u cant suggest unformat application? naa sad diay ingon ana sir? but in that way kelangan sa ko mgformat?
tried mansad to nako ug install og WindowsXp sa kato nga drive, then gipapili nuan ko nga formaton, so gcancel nlng nako..
naa pa tanay makatabang ani oi..

More detail daw, basin pag insert nimo ug CD OS tapos nag setup unya katong drive nga na corrupt na delete nimo ang partition at tapos na create ang partition without formating, mao na pag adto nimo sa drive while in OS kay unformated drive na siya... hala lisuda.

Bro di man dyud maayo mag reset ka ug PC while ang HDD indicator nag siga siga pa, once e cut off na nimo naa dyud something dili maayo ma hitabo, pero not always dyud ma ingon ana.

nope, wla nako nadelete ang katong partition para ato nga drive sir.. akong gikatingahan lang kay mura cya ug wlay solod.. pero, [UNKNOWN] cya, lahi sad sa kanang mgcreate ka bago na partition kay naa bya mabutang nga [RAW].. mao jud sir, hehe sahay man gud nga dli makahuwat mao reset dayun.. unusual lang kaayu to nako gyud kay kalit ra man ug pilit pilit gyud during startup, then gasiga ang red sa akong cpu mrag busy pa..

anyways.. naa nakoy update gkan gainang kadlawn kay naabtan kog alas kwatro..
i deleted d partition sa katong drive nga dunay working/functioning nga WindowsXP.. then gicreate nako balik partition after being deleted.. kung ing-ana ba, silbi nawala na tong solod ato nga drive? kay gdelete man nako ang partition.. then ako giformat nsad kay nahimo naman og [RAW].. then install nsad ko og XP, lahi na ni nga installer, dli ni mao akong gamit sa katong nacorrupt..

then after pila ka oras, nahuman na.. pagsolod nako sa windowsXP nga kato ako giinstol, niperform cya ug CHKDSK nsad, para sa katong drive nga corrupt OS.. then naa to mga "inserting indexes etc. etc.", then "restoring record.." sumting ingana during CHKDSK.. hehe mbot, mrag nafix tngale nya partially coz i imediately went to My Computer to chek wat's new, so didto nakita nsad nako tong drive nga corupt OS, dli na Local Disk, rather seems normal na.. makasolod nako.. kita mga files

ang ako nlng prob karon, is di gyapn nako magamit to nga OS, same gyapn iyang edisplay nga error during bootup.. naa ba pamaagi masolod nako ang My Documents sa user account nako adto nga OS sir?
and another prob is, ako rba sad jud to naset private ang mga files adtong mga User Accounts ato nga OS.. asa nako pwede makita og masolod ang My Documents, pati mga items/files nga naa sa Desktop ato nga OS? hehe pwede ba na?

ITS A GOOD SIGN!!!! Hala start back up those important files and junk that HD nah.. may gani na tabang pa dyud... ayaw nana gamita nga HD kay daghan pana problem the longer you use it.

Ayaw dyud pag langay.. After back up nimo nga important files, then insert OS setup disk then delete all partition, then e partition balik to 2 drives. Then try to install the first drive katong guba sa una kung mo install pa gani, and walay chckdsk basin ma dala ra pero para nako di dyud ko mo gamit ana nga HD.

If naa naka sa windows XP try to scandisk basin naay bad sector, bahalag dugay basta sure lang.

Take Ownership of Your Files and Folders
Windows Explorer/Locate the file or folder in question/Right Click/Properties/Security/Advanced/Owner Tab. In the change owner box, click new owner.
    [To Display the Security Tab: Start/Settings/Control Panel/Appearance & Themes/Folder Options. View/Advanced
and clear "Use Simple File Sharing".]
You can transfer ownership in two ways:

The current owner can grant the Take ownership permission to others, allowing those users to take ownership at any
    time.

An administrator can take ownership of any file on the computer. However, the administrator cannot transfer ownership
to others. This restriction keeps the administrator accountable.

Note: In Windows XP Professional, the Everyone group no longer includes the Anonymous Logon group.
    Folder Permissions
To set, view, change, or remove file and folder permissions:

    1. Click Start, click My Computer, and then locate the file or folder for which you want to set permissions.
    2. Right-click the file or folder, click Properties, and then click the Security tab.
    3. Use one of the following steps:

    - To set permissions for a group or user that does not appear in the "Group or user names" box, click Add, type the name of
the group or user for whom you want to set permissions, and then click OK.
    - To change or remove permissions from an existing group or user, click the name of the group or user.

    4. Use one of the following steps:

    - To allow or deny a permission, click to select either the Allow or Deny check box in the "Permissions for <User or
Group>" box, where <User or Group> is the name of the user or group.
    - To remove the group or user from the "Group or user names" box, click Remove.

Important: If you are not joined to a domain and want to view the Security tab:

    1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
    2. Click "Appearance and Themes", and then click Folder Options.
    3. Click the View tab, and then click to clear the "Use simple file sharing [Recommended]" check box in the "Advanced
    settings" box.

    Notes:

    - The Everyone group does not include the Anonymous Logon permission.
    - You can set permissions only on drives formatted to use the NTFS file system.
    - To change permissions, you must be the owner or have permissions to change permissions by the owner.
    - Groups or users that are granted Full Control for a folder can delete files and subfolders in that folder, regardless of the
permissions that protect the files and subfolders.
    - If the check boxes in the "Permissions for <user or group>" box are shaded or if the Remove button is unavailable, then
the file or folder has inherited permissions from the parent folder. For more information about how inheritance affects files
    and folders, see Windows Help.
    - When you add a new user or group, by default, the user or group has Read & Execute, List Folder Contents, and Read
    permissions.
How Inheritance Affects File and Folder Permissions

After you set permissions on a parent folder, new files and subfolders that are created in the folder inherit these permissions. If you do not want the files and folders to inherit permissions, click "This folder only" in the "Apply onto" box when you set up special permissions for the parent folder.

If you want to prevent only certain files or subfolders from inheriting permissions,
right-click the file or subfolder, click Properties, click the Security tab, click Advanced, and then click to clear the "Inherit from parent the permission entries that apply to child objects. Include these with entries explicitly defined here" check box.

If the check boxes are not available, the file or folder has inherited permissions from the parent folder. There are three ways to make changes to inherited permissions:

    - Make the changes to the parent folder so that the file or folder inherits the permissions.
    - Click to select the opposite permission (Allow or Deny) to override the inherited permission.
    - Click to clear the "Inherit from parent the permission entries that apply to child objects. Include these with entries explicitly
defined here" check box. When you do this, you can make changes to the permissions or remove the user or group from
the permissions list. However, the file or folder does not inherit permissions from the parent folder.

In most cases, Deny overrides Allow unless a folder inherits conflicting settings from different parents. When this occurs, the setting that is inherited from the parent that is closest to the object in the subtree has precedence.

When you use the Deny and Allow settings, note that:

    - Allow permissions are cumulative, so a user's permissions are determined by the cumulative effect of all of the groups to
    which the user belongs.
    - Deny permissions override Allow permissions. Use caution when you apply Deny permissions.

Inheritable permissions are only inherited by child objects. When you set permissions on the parent object, you can decide whether folders or subfolders can inherit them with the "Apply onto" setting.

You can determine which permissions a user or group has on an object if you view the effective permissions.

Ang pasabot nako bro, back up sa tanan important files nimo sa CD/DVD or Flash Drive, then delete all partition C: and D:, then create new partion for C: and D: and format C: then Install new OS.

If ok na ang drive after running scandisk kung walay bad sectors, so pwedi ra nimo ma gamit ug balik.
