Msgr. Diego Monroy Ponce, rector of the Basilica of Guadalupe in Mexico, will visit Cebu on October 22 to 24, 2009. The Mexican priest promotes Our Lady of Guadalupe all over the world and says that he has the responsibility to share with the world the message that the Blessed Mother brought to them in Mexico.

Mexico’s most popular religious and cultural image, the Virgin of Guadalupe has been given the title: "Patroness of the Americas and the Philippine Islands". Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City has been the most visited Catholic shrine in the world.

In this regard, we would like to invite you to be with us in welcoming the visit of Msgr. Diego Monroy Ponce by attending his Holy Mass Celebrations at Guadalupe Parish Church, Guadalupe, Cebu City on Friday, October 23 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM and at Sacred Heart Parish Church, D.
