Moreover, you can post questions here in the forums.
Regarding your cam. If you have the budget go for the Canon 500D as it is 15MP and has 720p HD Video Recording.

the comparison is wrong.
1000d is low end range.
500d is upper mid-level range.
there are lots of online dslr reviews. do search them in google.

The Canon 1000D (10MP) roughly costs about P30,000 (including the kit lens) while the Canon 500D (15MP) roughly costs about P53,000 including the kit lens (SRP) Originally Posted by elroy15
