Does anyone here play board and card games? Board games like:

Risk
Cluedo
Settlers of Cataan

Card games like:
Monopoly Deal
Uno
Bang!

Interested ko sa mga ing ani but it seems it's not a common interest in Cebu

sa mga toy stores bai like in Toy Kingdom or sa Ayala naa man.
Mahal lang.
I got mine sa HK, naay chinese characters but cheap ra kaayo hehe.

i'm 27 bai. kani nga mga boardgames kay wala pa ni pagkabata nato. mga bago2x pa na sila.

mao ni ang mga release dates sa mga board games nga naa ko:

recent ra ni nako nga hobby ang magcollect og "modern" board games. naay resurgence ron sa board & card gaming sa US and sa europe kay mainstream na ang board games did2.

if ang board games are like burgers, then ang monopoly, snake & ladder and the other usual suspects kay mura ra na og mcdo. but kaning mga modern board games kay mga flame it! nani sila. hehehe

sa mga modern boardgames, especially ang eurotype board games.
- giplay down ang luck (monopoly is very dice driven. swerteay ra jud kung maka monopoly kag color. uban board games karon kay walai dice involve. or if naa kay dili ayo ingna ka dako ang impact.)
- more decision making involve (sa monopoly, the decision available nimo is to buy or not to buy, pero murag automatic namn na nga paliton jud nimo)
- less player elimination (sa monopoly, you strive to be eliminate all the other players. but some game ron are classified as cooperative where kamo tanan nagtinabagay aron ma beat ang game. or ang uban kay competitve gihapon pero walai player elimination, pwede gihapon makaapas ang last player)
- defined game end (sa monopoly, magpatuyang mog duwa handtud mahurot ang kwarta or nai maka monopoly which usahay maabtan mo og pila ka oras. karon naa jui conditions ma meet ang game para mahuman)

well, generalities ra na sila, some new games are still very luck leaning while ang uban kay grabe ka strategic na but overall, mas diverse na jud karon ang mga board games.

sad to say, dili ni sila available diri locally. i've been search around sa malls diri pero ang mga usual, sikat and old games ra jud naa. once, kita kog settlers of catan sa play to learn. namaligya ang neutral grounds sa manila pero ang branch diri cebu kay order basis ra, nothing on the shelf. and naa pui manila-based online shop akong nahibaw-an with limited stocks from time to time.
