NEED HELP ... PC turns on by itself when AVR is switched on

with my current vcard problem (its below in the forums)

proc p4 1.8ghz
mobo p4m800
vcard nino3d fx5500
ram kingston ddr 1gb

i now have another problem
my PC turns on by itself when i switch the AVR on
and i get 1 long beep
i only have the ram on

and thats what i noticed

after googling it i coudnt find a fix, mostly the results were "pc turns OFF by itself"

any help appreciated

I suggest taking off the ram and re attaching it again kay usahay man gud if the certain parts arent properly placed the PC will do strange things like the said "1 long beep"

Check out the BIOS. You probably have the option of turning the PC on when there is power. I use the option so that my PC automatically turns back on after a power outage.

mmm it seems you have mobo proiblem. Naay naka ground ana bro. Di man gud na usual mo on ang PC when the AVR is turned on also. Turning ON/OFF a PC has a process jud.

yup, probably bios setting ni. sa ako mobo "AC Back Function" ang naa sa bios.
